In connection with our programs, products, services, promotions, contests and events, we may share personal information with our service providers. These service providers help us run our business, operate our technology systems and applications and our infrastructure, and implement our internal procedures and our advertising and marketing strategy. We require that these service providers limit their access to and use of the personal information to the information they need to provide their services and that they comply with our security and privacy requirements in respect of the personal information shared.

FURTHER DETAILS

A.      SECURITY AND USE OF COOKIES

Dubois’ website protects the privacy of its users. Our site uses cookies that are stored on your computer when you visit our website. This provides a more efficient experience on subsequent visits by offering you a more personalized browsing experience, thanks to the use of information that will enable our server to retrieve certain browsing data.

Cookies also help us obtain data on site traffic and provide relevant information to our marketing department to create better-tailored offers and promotions.

Dubois shares its Google Analytics data with Google, which then defines audiences and creates lists for cross-device remarketing. To do this, Google Analytics will collect Google-authenticated identifiers and temporarily link them with Dubois data.

B.      INDICATE YOUR CHOICES WHEN REGISTERING OR BY CONTACTING US DIRECTLY

If you have an account with us (a professional  account, for example), you can update your preferences directly in your customer account when given the option to do so by the program, product or service in question. Note also:

  • If you would prefer not to receive marketing messages by email or text, click on “Unsubscribe” in any email you receive or text “STOP” in reply to a text message you receive. You can also indicate your choice through your online account (if you have created one).
  • If you would prefer not to participate in surveys, follow the Unsubscribe instructions in the email.
  • If you would prefer not to receive personalized advertising from us, check the appropriate box.
  • It may take some time for a change of preference to be reflected in all our records (for example, if you have asked not to receive personalized marketing messages from Dubois, we may not be able to apply your request to a promotion that is already under way).

C.      CHANGE YOUR DEVICE’S BROWSER SETTINGS

We use technology to improve your customer experience and present you with offers, including personalized advertising. Through the use of technologies such as cookies, our websites recognize you when you use or return to them and are therefore able to offer you continuity. You can manage your privacy preferences for third-party services such as Google using the Unsubscribe feature on their platform. Please note that opting-out of, blocking or deleting some of these technologies, such as cookies, may prevent you from using some of the features on our websites and mobile apps.

For example, Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze your browsing behaviour on our websites. The information it obtains in this way, which is forwarded to us in a non-personally identifiable form, comes from your device or browser settings for advertisements. If you wish to disable Google’s ad settings, go to www.google.com/settings/ads or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on, which can be found at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
